Competitions at the event:

Friday Evening:
10:00pm - CAKEWALK COUPLES
10:45pm - SOLO 1920s CHARLESTON (10 leaders, 10 followers)
11:30pm - COUPLES 1920s CHARLESTON

Saturday Evening: 
8:45pm - LINDY HOP
10:00pm - BALBOA
11:30pm - COLLEGIATE SHAG

Sunday Evening: 
5:00pm - TWIST (10 leaders, 10 followers)
5:20pm - DISCO / HUSTLE COUPLES
5:40pm - HIP HOP (10 leaders, 10 followers)

All competitions will be "Tap Out" / Audience applause format
Competitions will be done to Live Music if possible
There is plenty of space in the ballroom for the competitors near the stage, audience, and those that want to still dance

Limit 20 Couples or 10 Leader / 10 Followers for Solo competitions
Sign up at the event only - $10/person ($20/couple) - 8:00-9:00pm each night

WINNER TAKES ALL CASH PRIZES!

Please note that the competitions WILL NOT interrupt any social dance time.
The ballroom is large enough to accommodate a competition area for those that want to watch AND
social dancing for those that simply want to keep moving.

On 'The Slab' - during break times:
Saturday 12:30pm - Miss Catalina Vintage Swimsuit Contest
Format:
10 contestants max
75% bathing attire, 25% attitude to get to finals
- Male judges pick top 3 of the 10 after a walk off
- after walk off - DJs play song for social dancing so judges have time to discuss
- announce top 3
Audience Applause for placement
1st - Full Balboa Rendezvous Weekend pass
2nd - Balboa Rendezvous Dance Only Pass
3rd - Catalina Tshirt

Sunday 12:30pm - Mr P1930X Muscle/Vintage Swimsuit Contest
Format:
10 contestants max
