Breaking the normal weekend workshop model...
 After years of teaching and organizing events, I felt it was time to change the way weekend
workshops were run to provide a better experience for all the students that support the weekend.

BALBOA UNIVERSITY© is a new workshop model created with one goal in mind - create better Balboa dancers and instructors.
It will be the most comprehensive, open-minded, and diverse weekend of classes you will ever attend.

      * Classes are focused on the building blocks for the dance:  Balboa, Bal-Swing, and Footwork
     * IN CLASS INSTRUCTORS are utilized in levels 1-4 to provide personal feedback in class when you need it.
     * With so many instructors teaching, you have the opportunity to sample many techniques to be a well-rounded dancer.
     * INSTRUCTOR workshops on Sunday for future and current teachers of Balboa.
     * MULTI-LEVEL classes offered to promote the social aspect of the dance and community focus.
     * HISTORICALLY an amazing opportunity to hear from original Balboa dancers and dance where it all began...

The goal of these classes is to discuss what you can do to inspire Balboa dancers in your community.
We anticipate a lot of discussion taking place in these sessions as well as theory on specific Balboa skills.
* ANYONE is welcome to attend the instructor classes, whether you teach classes or not
- EVERYONE can learn these skills...
The topics will really depend on what the group would like to discuss - possible topics are listed:
