*** Level Descriptions ***
The descriptions are very clear, please read
carefully and choose wisely.
Do not cheat your Balboa education, BR is a great chance to really improve your
dancing.
At BR, the 'level review' is YOU as a dancer being honest about your skills and
the INSTRUCTORS having
the ability in class to ask you to move to another level.
FOLLOWERS (and leaders too, of course):
Be advised
that the expectation is
that you KNOW the fundamental moves listed below - not just follow them.
If we decide to add a level review OR if an instructor asks:
"followers, show us the footwork for XXX and the
timing for YYY without your leader" - be ready!
XXX and YYY will be any of the Fundamental moves listed in Level 1.
We want you to fully understand
this dance so do not cheat your Balboa education - be honest.
Do you truly know the footwork, the count, the shape and the lead/follow
elements that make each foundation move work?
If not, please sign up for Level 1 or Level 2 and take advantage of what Balboa
